I had my neighbor take on to there house right next door, and I could clearly talk to them, and hear them. They live about 30 yards away. I was very impressed. I was at first a little skeptical about the sound quality & how far she would be able to go so that we could still communicate with her. I was completely wrong!! These walkie talkies are excellent!! They have great sound quality, very clear & easy to understand & hear her. She is able to go a good distance & we are still able to communicate with her, which I like, especially when she is outside playing or riding her scooter alone. I love the little light it has on the top, like a small flashlight, has a clip so she can easily clip it on to her waist while still being able to play, it has a great battery life, have not had to change the batteries since we received the walkie talkies & they have been played with quite a few times now. I would highly recommend these walkie talkies. They are small so very easy for little hands to hold, easy enough for kids to maneuver through the channels to connect to the right one. Easy one press talk button as well as alert button to let the other person know you are trying to reach them. All around a great product & I would definitely buy again!!

My only wish as a parent is that they had a lower volume setting. they do have adjustable volume. It just doesn’t seem to go low enough.One downside is that they each take four AAA batteries. And if they get left on for a night or a day you can quickly go through a lot of batteries. I recommend getting some rechargeable batteries that way if the kids forget to turn them off, you can just recharge the batteries and the fun continues.4 stars because I needed to buy $14 worth of rechargeable batteries to make work for the long term.

I bought this walkie talkie set for my six year old nephew and he absolutely loves it! It has a ring button that has several different tones you can choose from. It also has a power button so you are not constantly wasting battery. It works really well. We went to a soccer field and I could here him from opposite ends of the field very clearly. It has different signal stations to choose from you just have to make sure that both sets are tuned into the same one to be able to talk to each other. It’s really nice that they have clips on the back of them in order to easily clip to clothing or whatever you like. One thing I will caution about thesev is that they require 4 AAA batteries each. Would have been nice if you could just charge them and go. Other than that my nephew loves these and won’t put them down.

These are great littlw walkie talkies! I got them for my sons 3rd birthday. So far the kids really like the flashlight function too which is handy to have. It is easy enough to operate though i feel you have to push the button a little harder and holding longer may be a tad of a learning curve for really young kiddos. You will need 8 batteries which I wasn’t expecting and had to buy in addition through Amazon. I think this is a great starter for kids amd they will have fun and enjoy them plus come in handy if going on trips. Will update later on battery life.

My kids love these, they were a little difficult to set up, and came with no instructions. Wish they had a timer of some sort where they shut themselves off after they’ve laid dormant for a period of time. My kids often forget them turned on and it takes about a day before it starts beeping to let you know it needs shut off. Also, I’m so used to the little kid walkie talkies that just talk to each other we were caught completely off guard on Christmas morning when we could hear someone else speaking. It was just a lovely grandmother and her grandson from down the road in our neighborhood but still caught us off guard. It comes with 0 paperwork on usage or anything else. My kids love these, they were a little difficult to set up, and came with no instructions. Wish they had a timer of some sort where they shut themselves off after they’ve laid dormant for a period of time. My kids often forget them turned on and it takes about a day before it starts beeping to let you know it needs shut off. Also, I’m so used to the little kid walkie talkies that just talk to each other we were caught completely off guard on Christmas morning when we could hear someone else speaking. It was just a lovely grandmother and her grandson from down the road in our neighborhood but still caught us off guard. It comes with 0 paperwork on usage or anything else. These things are amazing! We got them for my daughters birthday and my husband wanted to see how far the went, so he got in the car! He drove pretty far and it worked most of the time. Over houses, electrical lines, we were impressed! I’m sure flat surrounding would go even further. The only annoying thing is the back battery covering comes off real easy. A piece of duct tape fixed that. Other than that they are sturdy and the flash light adds to the fun for the kids at night.

My four year old got these for his birthday and so far he loves using them to communicate with his brother, whether in the house or long range. Unfortunately he also loves pressing the ‘ring’ and ‘monitor’ button, which both produce loud sounds. The ring button and the monitor buttons are potentially very useful if you’re adults using these devices as actual walkie talkies. I will say that you can just rip the two buttons out (the bottom buttons to the left and right of the talk button), using needlenose plyers. Problem solved — see picture. 😀

These are great littlw walkie talkies! I got them for my sons 3rd birthday. So far the kids really like the flashlight function too which is handy to have. It is easy enough to operate though i feel you have to push the button a little harder and holding longer may be a tad of a learning curve for really young kiddos. You will need 8 batteries which I wasn’t expecting and had to buy in addition through Amazon. I think this is a great starter for kids amd they will have fun and enjoy them plus come in handy if going on trips. Will update later on battery life.

I bought this for my 4 year old for Christmas and let him open it early. It works great and the distance on it is amazing!!! I gave 3 stars because things got weird. During set up he hit the scan button and something come over it which sounded almost like a police radio or trucker radio, strange but switched back to our original channel. We were in the middle of making cookies when it kept making noise on its own. I thought nothing of it. But than, we started hearing other people! As a kids toy idk how safe that is and it was really scary for the both of us. Ringing like a house phone and talking of another mother and child. I got scared so turned them both off. When I turned it back on I could still hear them so I switched to channel two and walked out of the room. After about 5-7 minutes I hear the house phone ringing the walkies make (I don’t own a house phone) from the other room but this time no voice(s) on the other end. The instruction manual doesn’t say that this can/will happen, and complicated to understand on what each button does, etc..This toy is fun and creative but buy with caution. I thought this would just be a kids thing with privacy. It’s like living in a horror movie where unexplained things happen.

My friends and I bought these to bring along on a Pedal Pub Bar Crawl a few weeks ago. The forecast called for pouring rain, and we didn’t want to risk ruining our phones while trying to stay in contact from bar to bar. My kids love these walkie talkies! Easy for my kids to talk to each other around the house. I can talk to my daughter while I’m taking the dog outside. We decided to test it out to see how far it would actually reach. I left my driveway in my car and didn’t make it very far down our road (less than 1/4 mile) when I wasn’t able to hear my daughter anymore. I don’t really care about that part since that’s really not why I bought them. The only reason I had an issue was due to false advertising. On the box it says it has a 3 mile range, but when I looked in the instruction manual, it stated it had a 3 Km open field range. Much different. I double checked the box to see if I misread it for miles, but I didn’t. Like I said, not a big deal since my kids are still young and use it for fun around the house. However if anyone is looking for a bit of distance on the range, I wouldn’t rely on these for that.

Bought these for the kiddo for Christmas and expected a cheapie wallow talkie. Was pleasantly surprised to find that they work well, you can hear clearly and even the adults enjoyed them! I bought this walkie talkie set for my six year old nephew and he absolutely loves it! It has a ring button that has several different tones you can choose from. It also has a power button so you are not constantly wasting battery. It works really well. We went to a soccer field and I could here him from opposite ends of the field very clearly. It has different signal stations to choose from you just have to make sure that both sets are tuned into the same one to be able to talk to each other. It’s really nice that they have clips on the back of them in order to easily clip to clothing or whatever you like. One thing I will caution about thesev is that they require 4 AAA batteries each. Would have been nice if you could just charge them and go. Other than that my nephew loves these and won’t put them down.
